Joe Biden approval rating slipped to 40 per cent – the same as Donald Trump in mid-March of his second year in office.
The new poll which was conducted by Reuters/Ipsos gave Biden a sinking domestic feeling, as he sets to go to Europe. 54% of respondents disapprove of his performance.
Conducted online over two days this week, there were almost 100 more Democrat respondents compared to Republicans – out of just over 1K who answered the survey.
Voters see the economy as the most pressing issue, followed by war or foreign conflicts. High inflation and Biden’s handling of foreign policy have put increased pressure on the Democrats ahead of Midterms later this year.
