Apologise to President Buhari immediately – Igbo youths tell Nnamdi Kanu

A group known as Igbo Youth Assembly (IYA) worldwide has urged the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to immediately apologise to President Muhammadu Buhari for consistently abusing his administration.

Daily Trust reports that Ifeanyi Nwaudunna, the president-general of the group in a statement described Kanu’s actions against Buhari’s administration as rude and irresponsible.

The group said such conducts by Kanu should not be passed to the younger generation because it contradicts the customs, traditions and cultural values of the Igbos as a people.

“Such acts of rudeness and irresponsibleness of Nnamdi Kanu should not be passed to the younger generation because it contradicts the customs, traditions and cultural values of Igbo as a People.

The youths said for the leader of the proscribed group to have his peace at Afara-Ukwu Umuhia Abia state, he should immediately apologise to President Muhammadu Buhari.

“As such, with immediate effect, IYA Worldwide mandates Nnamdi Kanu to appologise to President Muhammadu Buhari and have his peace at Afara-Ukwu Umuhia Abia state,” the group said.

The IYA said President Buhari’s administration had recorded so much transformation in the areas of infrastructure and road construction such as, Enugu – Port Harcourt Express Way, Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, Airports re-construction across the country, the Second Niger Bridge and the laudable fight against corruption and insurgency in the country.
