The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) family is mourning the loss of a stalwart, Chief Maja Emeka Alex Umeh, a revered member of our Board of Trustees and distinguished public servant.
APGA National Chairman, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of thisnremarkable individual. A Legacy of Dedication and Service Chief Umeh’s dedication, integrity, and statesmanship were exemplary. As former Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism in Anambra State, he significantly contributed to the cultural renaissance of the Igbo people.
His pioneering efforts in promoting the collaborative celebration of the New Yam Festival among Southeast governors strengthened cultural unity in the region.
A Loss Felt Across the Party
We will deeply miss Chief Umeh’s counsel and passion for our party. His legacy is
