APGA National Chairman Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa has praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo, dubbing him “The Solution” following the successful presentation of the 2025 budget proposal, “Changing Gears 2.0,” to the Anambra State House of Assembly which he said stands
for an exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to transforming the state.
A Bold Vision for Development
Governor Soludo’s proposed budget of ₦606.99 billion represents a significant 48% increase from the previous year, demonstrating a bold and ambitious vision for accelerating development across key sectors. The budget allocates 77% to capital expenditure and 23% to recurrent expenditure, prioritizing infrastructure, human capital development, and economic transformation.

According to Barr. Ezeokenwa, the Governor’s plans reflect a clear focus on:
1. Education: Expansion of free education to Senior Secondary 3 and recruitment of over 10,000
teachers
2. Youth Empowerment: Establishment of the Solution Innovation District
3. Healthcare: Completion of 326 primary healthcare centers and construction of new general hospitals
4. Infrastructure Development: Ongoing construction of over 540 kilometers of roads, iconic flyovers, bridges, and dualized Trunk A roads
