Former President Goodluck Jonathan has showed praised on Anyim Pius Anyim, who was the Secretary to the Government of the federation during his time as the President.
Jonathan spoke at the 61st birthday celebration of Anyim who is also a former senate President of Nigeria.
According to Jonathan, Anyim was instrumental to the progress he made as President and referred to him as the “engine room of his administration”. He further stated that he has no iota of doubt that Anyim would make the ideal president of the country.
The event was attended by top dignitaries across Nigeria, including President Muhammadu Buhari’s representative, Boss Mustapha; former Vice President Namadi Sambo; the governor of River state, Nyesom Wike, amongst others.
While speaking, the former president could not help but express his confidence in the competence and capacity of Anyim to serve Nigeria at the highest level.
