The former senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Senator Shehu Sani has advised the Federal government to force heavy fine on Nigerians who collect Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) but refuse to go out to cast their votes during elections.
He claimed that if the government do so that will be the best way to address the problem of low voter turnout.
Posting on his X handle, Sani said; ‘’Heavy fine should be imposed for those who collected PVC but refused to vote. That is the best way to address the problem of low voter turnout.”
