Officers of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC) on Tuesday, May 8, arrested a man for vandalizing the newly constructed 3rd Mainland Bridge.
The report has it that the young man was stealing road light indicators. They help with visibility on the bridge at night.
The Special Adviser to the Lagos state governor on New Media, Gawat Jubril, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the suspect identified as Friday Nwafor, 46, was taken into custody and handed over to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command Mr. Adegoke Fayoade.
The items recovered from the suspect were reinstalled on the third mainland bridge.
