A tragedy has happened in Jos, Plateau State as a man chops off his wife’s hand over N3000.
Bashir M Usman, a Jos resident who witnessed the incident said that the reason why the man chopped off her hand was because she took N3000 out of his N20,000 savings.

Similar thing also happened on March 27 2021 when a young man identified as Chukwudi Chukwu, was declared wanted after he allegedly killing his mother, cutting off her head, and burying her remaining parts in a shallow grave.
Chukwu who is a native of Umumnakpi village, Egwu Achi community in Oji River, Enugu, is said to have killed his mother on Sunday, March 21 because of money issues.
He reportedly fled after burying her body in a shallow grave in their compound. The police exhumed the body of the deceased and declared the man wanted.
