Borno state Governor Babagana Zulum awards university scholarships to 37 laborers from the state.
The laborers who helped build resettlement homes for Internally Displaced Person’s(IDPs), in Nguro Soye will have their university tuition fully funded by the state government.
Zulum made the promise during an inspection tour of the construction site on October 19.
The governor, during an interaction with workers at the site, learned that 37 of them had received their senior secondary school certificates.
He offered to fully sponsor their education, provided they passed the university entrance exams and secured admission.
