Tokunbo Wahab, the state commissioner for environmental and water resources, has directed the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency to seal up a club due to noise pollution.
The club which is located in the Ikoyi area of Lagos state has been known for causing a lot of noise.
The state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, couldn’t handle it anymore, and had to seal it up.
The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency had conducted a night time enforcement operation that led to the closure.
Tokunbo disclosed this on X handle.
”As I directed, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency @LasepaOfficial conducted a nighttime enforcement operation, leading to the closure and sealing of Silk Club at 190, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi due to noise pollution,” he said.
