22-year-old BBNaija All Stars Season winner, Ilebaye Precious Odiniya has been called out after she posted her account number for gifts hours after winning 120 million naira cash in grand prize.
In the early hours of Monday, October 2, Ilebaye had released her account details after she realized that fake account numbers have been circulating around in her name to receive gifts.
She said, ‘this tweet was solely to avoid people who WANT to gift falling into the hands of scammers.’
‘we didn’t solicit for funds, we only highlighted the account we have access to,’ she tried to explain.
‘Too many account numbers are circulating and we will not be held accountable for any misappropriation,’ she said this on her tweet.
Hours later, many comments came flooding after she posted it. Both from fans and non-fans. So many of them went ahead to call her greedy that although, she won 120 million, she still wanted to extort from her fans.
Some comments described anyone who sends money to her as ‘foolish’ and ‘stupid’.
One of the comments read, ‘to tell you how greedy llebaye is, she’s telling her fans to send her money despite the fact that she just won 120 million naira CASH . She still wants foolish and stupid Nigerians to denote money to her.’
Ilebaye just wanted to clear them from being scammed and giving them the right details but she ended up being seen as one who was not contented with what she has. Maybe she would have done giveaway instead.
