The panel set up to investigate the allegations of sexual improprieties against the Dean of Law, Cyril Ndifon of Unical has submitted its report to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) Prof. Florence Obi.
As Ndifon battles with the accusations, more came up from some of his students, who also accused him of sexual harassment.
After the investigative Panel showcased their report to the Vice Chancellor at her office in a brief presentation, she gave her commendation and cheered them for their effort so far and their report, considering their productivity within a short period.
She believed the report would be handy for the University for further investigation into Ndifon’s case, though the management has yet to go through it. But she is sure they will find it useful.
So much has followed the case of Ndifon, right from the comments of people, however, the Vice Chancellor holds firmly to the report from the panel and has said it will serve as the advocate/instrument of the University to everyone.
Meanwhile, the University Leader has stated the basis on which the panel members were chosen. He said they consist of men of integrity and capacity and were also selected based on their offices, positions and credibility.
