Nigerians have taken to different social media platforms to drag the hell out of Italian football club, Napoli after they disrespected Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen.
Recall that the Nigerian star striker missed an important penalty shoot that would have given his club a win against Bologna on Sunday, September 24th. This made so many fans unhappy.
However, a drama ensued after the coach substituted him immediately without given him a chance to try and redeem himself.
To make the matter worse, the Tik Tok handler of the club made a post thereafter mocking Osimhen. This provoked him and his management, to release a statement threatening a lawsuit against the club.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have taken to social media, especially X, to express their support for Osimhen and slam the club for disrespecting him. They also reminded the club that Osimhem had rejected offers from other clubs to remain in Napoli.
