Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma has assured that some of the youths trained in the state’s Skill-Up program will be given job opportunities to work in the tech industry in Europe.
During the visit of over 15,000 yet to be graduated candidates of the Imo Skill-Up program, the Governor made a statement which proved his commitment to empowering the youth and fostering economic growth.
Also, Uzodimma made emphasis on the significance and relevance of equipping the younger generation with the skills and knowledge needed to grow vigorously in the modern job market. His determination to stop or rather reduce unemployment by collaborating with European tech organizations was really expressed in his statement.
“Some Canadian companies are sending digital skills requirements and by this year, 4,000 Imo Youths will be employed in Europe”, he stated.
To guarantee a better and brighter future for the people of Imo state, Uzodimma reasurred the youth, that his administration would continue to explore more opportunities for partnerships and investments.
