Zamfara State government has been slammed by the Federal Government over the politicization of the security challenge in the Federal University Gusau.(FUGUS)
Alhaji Mohammed Idris, The minister of information and national orientation expressed his spiteful despondency over the Zamfara state governor, Dr Dauda Lawal, who made a decision to play on the sensitive issue.
The Minister made it known that his officials together with him are actively working on the return of the victims. He reassured everyone of the efforts being made to bring back victims.
He said their effort to hide some details and processes of carrying out their actions should not create a stealth atmosphere.
The minister also declared that there is no mediation between a Federal Officer and the bandits.
In his statement he made it known that the ruptured peace would be restored by all means and tension would be actively handled.
He assured Nigerians of their work in progress in taming the situation. And beckoned on Nigerians to trust the process through which this peace would come.
The minister guaranteed Nigerians that the federal government and its officials were working tirelessly to resolve the current situation thereby eradicating the cases of banditry, and other criminal activities.
He urged the active participation of every citizen in the utilization of this security goal.
