Kim Kardashian has recounted the stress she has been passing through in the recent months over the squams with her ex-husband, Kanye West.
While speaking in an interview with Angie Martinez on her “IRL” podcast published on Monday, December 26, Kim revealed that co-parenting with Kanye since their divorce last month has been very difficult.
She mentioned how hard she had it’s been hiding the family situation from her children, saying it is a full-time job for her. She even have to bring herself to listen to and sing Kanye’s songs whenever she’s driving and her children say they want to listen to their dad’s song.
She comments on the aftereffects, saying: “As soon as I drop them off, I could have a good cry, text back or do what I have to do.”
Kim says she is willing to protect Kanye in the eyes of her children. She said amidst dropping tears that she wants her children to have beautiful memories with their father, Kanye, just like she does of her dad.
“I had the best dad, and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids,” she said.
“That’s what I would want for them.”
In her opinion, the hard feeling that comes with such news is a burden for three grown-ups. She believes, despite counteracting comments on social media, that she is making the right decision.
“One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not bashing their dad when I could,” she said. “They’ll thank me and I’ll privately answer anything that they want to know. It’s not my place anymore to jump in,” she said.
