Social media giant, Twitter, has locked the account of controversial Biafran agitator, Simon Ekpa.
Ekpa is one of the disciples of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu who has been on trial and in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) since he was smuggled out of Kenya last year.
Ekpa is the one responsible for the recent sit-at-home orders in the South East and has been accused of using his Twitter of account to incite the violence that has led the shooting and killing in South East Nigeria in the past week.
Following the series of petitions against his account, Twitter has now sanctioned him for alleged incitement of violence in Nigeria from his base in Finland. Read the notification below.
