Nigeria’s former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar is among Nigerians who have reacted to the concerning news about Queen Elizabeth II’s health.
Buckingham Palace released a statement today, September 8, that doctors are concerned about the Queen’s health and that all her four children and his grandson, Prince William, have all travelled to Balmoral Castle, Aberdeenshire, to be with her.
A Palace spokesperson said: “Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
Reacting to the news, Atiku wrote on Twitter,
“My thoughts and prayers are with Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and her family. May God’s presence be with them at this time. -AA”
On his part, the Senator Shehu Sani prayed for the Queen’s quick recovery. He wrote:
“I wish Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth a quick recovery. Longevity comes with a lot of blessings and pains.”
