The alarming rate at which refuse dump sites are growing in Imo State has become a course for concern for Imolites.
In a video shared on Facebook, Human Rights advocate, Nnazim Chimezie Prince called out the Governor Hope Uzodinma for doing nothing while residents deal with the environmental hazards of the increasing dumps as well as the deplorable road conditions in the state.
Employing sarcasm, Prince wrote:
“Dear Governor Hope Uzodinma, we the citizens of Imo state, especially those from uratta, owerri north lga and all of mcc uratta road wish to express our profound gratitude and happiness over this “delicious, sumptuous and nourishing” mountain of food that you and your commissionaire provide for us along (picture 1, amawire mcc road and picture 2, school garden, same mcc road)
“his is in addition to the quality, beautifully constructed and durable road construction work done along mcc road.
We say thank you.
Should anyone not appreciate the work of our governor, then…”
