The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) on Wednesday held a special national convention attended by party leaders and members drawn from the six geo-political zones of the country where Professor Peter Umeadi emerged the party’s Presidential candidate.
At a special convention at the Katampe-Abuja national headquarters of the party, a total of 150 delegates affirmed the candidacy of Prof. Umeadi by a voice vote.
Among those present at the convention are Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and Rt. Hon. Henry Nwawuba who recently dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pick the APGA nomination/expression of interest forms, and eventually emerged candidates of APGA in their respective constituencies.
