Imo-based blogger and former Obi-Mbieri Councillor, Hon. Ngozi Clara Opara on Thursday, May 12, formally declared to her people at LGA level, her intentions to represent Mbaitoli Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly.
Speaking to members of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the LGA, the eloquent media personality revealed to Mbaitoli people how she intends to give the LGA competent people-oriented representation and sustainable Youth/Women empowerment legislation.
In her words, “Our people are suffering majorly because of high rate of youth unemployment that is why it is time for our people to have a youth empowerment that is sustainable, and capable of driving economic growth. I want to push legislations that will create trust funds for our young people who have business ideas and wish to set up their businesses in Imo State.
“With sustainable youth empowerment, businesses will spring up and blossom in the state. Money will go round and economic suffering will reduce or possibly disappear.”
The Local Government Declaration Ceremony which was attended by over hundreds of supporters, party members and leaders at Ward, LGA and State levels, held at the LGA office of APGA in Ubomiri, Mbaitoli of Imo state.
Some dignitaries who graced the ceremony includes, Hon. Poly Ezumoha, Governorship Aspirant of APGA, Hon. Collins Ugorji, House of Reps Aspirant; State Youth Leader, Comr K.C. Soribe; Owerri Zonal Chairman, Hon. Cosmos Unakalamba; Zonal Women Leader, Lady Grace Ugo and the Zonal Legal Adviser.
