Senator Stella Oduah has visited the widow who was humiliated and paraded naked over her husband’s death in Eziagulu-Otu in Aguleri, Anambra East Council Area.
The woman identified as Mrs Ajuese Obiora was accused of killing her husband, Mr Obiora popularly known as Okeosisi Aguleri, by having extra marital affairs.
Thereafter, she was beaten, striped naked by her in-laws, forced to swear an oath before their deity and paraded round the community naked.
The videos and photos from the inhuman treated meted on her draw public outcry and demand for the arrest of those behind her humiliation.
The police in Anambra State later arrested six persons, including a native doctor, in connection with the act. Read more HERE.
