France First Lady, Brigitte Macron, sues 2 women who called her a transgender born a man

French First Lady Brigitte Macron has filed a lawsuit against two women said to be the instigators of a rumour that she is transgender woman born a man.

Last month she had accused those spreading the rumor of altering her family tree on genealogy websites as fake proof she is in fact her brother.

The initial story gained traction in October last year when a magazine founded by right-wing Emmanuel Ratier published an article propagating the ruse that The French president’s wife was born Jean-Michel Trogneaux.

The first hearing on the suit Brigitte Macronset filed will be on June 15.
