Abakaliki, the capital city of Ebonyi State, is currently on lockdown as residents stayed at home to comply with the sit-at-home directive of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The group last week gave the directive to protest the continuous detention of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
