Governor Ben Ayade of Cross Rivers State has officially announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor made the announcement in front of the press on Thursday after a meeting with six APC governors who visited him at the Government House. The visiting governors include Governors of Kebbi, Imo, Yobe, Plateau, Jigawa, and Ekiti State.
