Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has told the newly sworn-in President of United States, Joe Biden, to remember those fighting for freedom in Africa.
Kanu made the comment on his Twitter page on Wednesday while congratulating Biden and Kamala Harris after they were sworn-in.
Kanu who is leading IPOB, a group fighting for the secession of Biafra from Nigeria, wrote:
“Congratulations to @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris. As you assume the mantle of leadership of the free world, remember those yearning for freedom in Africa. Best of luck.“
