A fuel laden tanker exploded in Irete, along Owerri/Onitsha road, Owerri, Imo State this morning.
The incident has thrown residents of the area into panic.
As at the time of filing this report, the Imo Fire Service has been called but are yet to arrive at the scene.
Eyewitnesses report that the tanker driver and a woman that was passing by have already burnt to death.
