Breaking: Nigeria confirms First Coronavirus Death

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed the First coronavirus death in Nigeria.

Taking to their official Twitter handle, NCDC announced:

“The 1st #COVID19 death in Nigeria has been recorded. The case was a 67 year old male who returned home following medical treatment in UK.

“He had underlying medical conditions- multiple myeloma & diabetes & was undergoing chemotherapy.
Our thoughts are with his family”

This brings the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 36. Meanwhile, the number of recovered remains two.

  1. I find it difficult to understand why Nigeria issue in the whole AFRICANS country should be over talk about PLEASE UNLESS GOD has said who is mere man to say the faith of a country. We must take every measure to protect ourselves but stop this putting fears into PEOPLE PLEASE. Tell us what to do we will do it . European countries are not showing one individual rather they ask people to stay home. UNLESS there are something you big PEOPLE are not telling us.
