A 23-year-old drug addict, simply identified as Michael has allegedly stabbed his parents to death in Ejigbo area of Lagos State.
The lifeless bodies of the newly elected chairman of Ailegun West Community Development Association (CDA), Barr. Clement Okhide and his wife, Toyin, a matron at the General Hospital, Isolo, was found in their apartment.
One of their daughters, Mary, who was found in the pool of her blood, was rushed to the hospital.
According to online reports, the son who is a drug addict is currently on the run, and although the reason for killing his parents could not be immediately ascertained, residents believe it would not be unconnected with his uncontrollable urge to get some of the illicit drugs at all costs.
