Judiciary workers in Imo state have finally moved in to the new ultra modern Justice Oputa High Court Complex built during former governor Okorocha’s administration.
Recall that Governor Hope Uzodinma visited the complex on assumption of office and said such edifice built for Imo state judiciary workers must not be locked and left to rot.
Some of the lawyers who were at the new court complex shared their excitement and praised former governor Rochas Okorocha in whose administration the Imo state government built the new edifice.
The complex was commissioned on 15th May, 2019, two weeks before Okorocha left office.
When Former Governor Emeka Ihedioha came on board, he visited the complex and said judges won’t be allowed to move in, expressing displeasure over the structure. The complex was locked up thereafter until Uzodinma came on.
Now, the Judicial officers are expressing excitement to work in a conducive environment. See video below.
