This morning, Davido shared a video of him receiving the portrait for his songs and which has gone platinum.
His song ‘Risky’, which has Jamaican superstar Popcaan on it and ‘Blow My Mind’, featuring Chris Brown both went platinum and the Sony Entertainment in South Africa presented him the portrait.
In excitement, his fiancée, Chioma Rowland who was obviously proud of him also shared the video and wrote: “So proud of my husband. Congrats baby.”
Davido replied: “Iyawo mi.” Which means, ‘My wife’.
But a troll decided to deflect Chioma’s claim to Davido by telling her that he has not married her yet. The troll wrote: “They never marry you oo, na only introduction you do babe.”
Immediately, Chioma hit back, saying: “I said wtf I said! MY HUSBAND!” Her response got many of Davido’s fans pleased. They were pleased that Chioma put the troll in her place.
