As more people get infected and the death toll rises, more stringent measures are now being put in place at airports to control the spread of deadly Coronavirus.
In China were the virus was first detected in December, over four thousand have tested positive for coronavirus while over 300 deaths have been recorded.
The desease has also spread to the US, UK, Philippines, and few others. The World Health Organization announced on Sunday that Philippines has recorded its first death.
The victim was a 44-year-old Chinese man from the city of Wuhan, where the virus was first detected and appears to have been infected before arriving in the Philippines.
“This is the first reported death outside China,” Rabindra Abeyasinghe, the WHO representative to the Philippines, told reporters.
The US, UK, and some other countries have temporarily suspended flights from China from entering into their countries.
