While the U.S House of Representatives have passed a vote of no confidence on president Donald Trump, and subsequently impeached him using two articles, there is still more going on concerning American politics.
The Republican dominated Senate will be carrying out their impeachment proceedings come January, 2020.
For the mean time, Americans have taken to Twitter which the president loves so much to get back at him.
They went on Twitter to dig up a tweet Trump made about impeachment in 2014.
In the said tweet that was likely directed at the then sitting president, Barack Obama, Trump asked rhetorically if the House was allowed to impeach a president for gross incompetence.
The citizens of the country have been retweeting the comments with diverse mocking opinions that point to why his present impeachment is deemed necessary.
