Jesus scores hat-trick as Man City beat Dinamo Zagreb 4-1

Gabriel Jesus scored a hat-trick as Manchester City ended their Champions League group stage with a comfortable win over Dinamo Zagreb.

Dinamo took the lead after 13 minutes through a superb finish from Spaniard Dani Olmo.

The 21-year-old drifted into the area to latch onto a cross from the right and hammer a volley past Bravo from 12 yards.

That had Zagreb heading through but Guardiola’s side equalised after 34 minutes as Jesus rose highest to nod in Mahrez’s cross at the back post.

Zagreb were furious but were also lucky to not lose Amer Gojak to a red card after a shocking elbow on Rodri, Mirror Uk reports.

Jesus fired City into the lead after 50 minutes with a smart finish after some neat interchange with Foden and the Brazilian completed his hat-trick four minutes later, finishing Mendy’s cross from the left.
