Breaking: President Buhari breaks silence on Third-term agenda

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that Nigerians have nothing to worry about regarding the speculations widely circulated in the media that he plans to run for a third-term.

The president declared that the Nigerian constitution does not allow him to contest for a third term as President, hence, he will leave by 2023 as opposed to what critics and partisans are saying.

The statement was part of his opening remarks at a meeting of the National Executive Council NEC of his ruling All Progressives Congress APC which is currently underway at the National Secretariat in Abuja.
