To Africans: Comedian AY shares massage of Peace, Healing from S’Africa

Ace Comedian AY Makun is in South Africa for an upcoming event. And the tension coming from SA artistes who are attacking Singer Burna Boy over the comment he made during xenophobic attacks on Nigerians has made it important for AY to comment.

Burna Boy had told Nigerians and other African Nationalities who were been attacked by S’Africans to defend themselves. He also went further to swear that he would never step feet in the country again except the president wakes up and do something about the xenophobic attacks.

Well, Burna Boy has a concert in SA this month. The concert is geared towards promoting a united Africa but some SA artistes are not happy about him coming which is why you will find AY message below very important.

AY wrote:

“Our coming to South Africa may not sound right to a lot of people, but i strongly believe that In order to heal, we must learn how to forgive and see ourselves as one.

“We need to develop the necessary cooperation between our nations. The more we build blocks of shared peace, prosperity, and human rights for all, the more we discover the antidotes to the poison of xenophobia. All we need is one love.
