Photos/Video: President Buhari arrives Nigeria after private visit to the UK

President Muhammadu Buhari arrived in the country about 9:45pm on Friday, after his private visit to the United Kingdom. The President returned 2 days earlier than he was scheduled to come back.

Speaking to reporters at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport Abuja, President Buhari says he intends to work harder and be accountable to Nigerians.

The President left for the UK from Saudi Arabia on November 2nd and was expected back on Sunday November 17th.

He attended the third Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he later performed the Lesser Hajj alongside Governors Atiku Bagudu, Aminu Masari and Babagana Zulum of Kebbi, Katsina and Borno States.

He was received at the airport last night by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, Inspector General of Police, Adamu Muhammad.
