Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has mocked President Muhammadu Buhari for calling on Nigerians to change their lawless habits.
Ezekwesili who is also a former presidential candidate in the last Presidential election called out the president’s hypocrisy after it was highlighted on the headline of Premium Times.
Recall that recently, the Federal government have being criticized and accused of being disobedient to rule of law for insisting on detaining Activist Omoyele Sowore after court has granted him bail.
Reacting to Buhari’s statement which urged Nigerians to change their lawless habits, Ezekwesili wrote:
“Wonderful. Mr @NGRPresident@MBuhari , the Chinese have a Saying: What you are doing is so Loud, Nigerians cannot hear what you are Saying. Nigerians will change by your example not your preachment, Mr President. Start immediately and Citizens will follow. #ObeyCourtOrders!“
Similarly, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri dragged the president, saying:
“Imagine General @MBuhari, a man so LAWLESS that he HABITUALLY disobeys COURT ORDERS, now accusing Nigerians of being LAWLESS DASUKI, ZAKZAKY, SOWORE are proof of your LAWLESSNESS!”
