Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, in the company of fellow billionaire business magnet, Femi Otedola were at the Aliko Dangote Wonderland on Friday to supervise the arrival of the giant Heat Recovery Steam Generator for Dangote’s 13 billion Dollars refinery.
The refinery, when completed, will be Africa’s largest oil refinery.
Recall that we brought you an earlier report (Read Here) that the refinery which, originally, was to be completed this year suffered a setback and will now be finished by the end of 2020 due to problems of importing steel and other equipment as revealed by executives at Dangote.
“We will be able to complete the (refinery) project by the end of next year – mechanical completion,” Dangote Group Executive Director Devakumar Edwin who oversees the project said in an interview with Reuters
