Days after the burial of Rev. Fr. Paul Offu who was killed by suspected herdsmen two weeks ago in Enugu, a pregnant woman has been killed by suspected herdsmen in Nchatancha Nike community, Enugu state.
The pregnant woman identified as Mrs Pat Ngwu was murdered while returning from the farm on Thursday, August 22nd.
The woman’s stomach was reportedly ripped opened in an attempt to remove her baby.
Following the incident, women from the community came out in large number to protest the murder.
Reacting to this ugly incident, the Enugu state commissioner of police, Suleiman Balarabe confirmed the incident leaving a statement that it’s currently under investigation.
