Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has once again called out his female colleagues, alleging that almost all of them bought their houses with money gotten from their sexual adventures and not from acting movies.
The actor who is popular for dropping bomb shells on his Instagram page explicitly stated that ‘99% of actresses in Nollywood bought their houses with money gotten from ashawo jobs.”
His statement comes days after the public were confronted with unpleasant photos of two Nollywood actors who are sick and dejected to the extent of begging for alms.
Many who saw the recent photos of Ernest Azuzu and ‘Ugo Shave me’ questioned why male Nollywood actors don’t seem to have a lot of money, unlike their female counterparts who flash luxurious cars and houses.
Uche claims that these actresses are more of runs girls as Nollywood gigs are not buoyant enough to pay for their lavish lifestyles and to the extent of owning a house/houses.
In his words,
“99% of actresses in Nollywood bought their houses with money gotten from #Ashawo jobs… I dont want to mention names, i am not giving anyone free advertisement, just over heard someone narrating how some popular #actress in #Naija have turned #Dubai into the new Allen Avenue in #Ikeja as they now #travel there for runs jobs with wealthy Arab men.
“Whenever i hear a Nigerian actress showing off her newly acquired mansion on #instagram or #twitter, i #laugh uncontrollably especially when they put ‘ hard work ‘ pays, seriously, is it the one on the bed with a Senator, Governor, wealthy traditional ruler, billionaire married man or rich politician in #Abuja, #lagos or some where else in #Nigeria? Wait, how much is your #acting fee in #Nollywood sef? Some claim to have endorsements, is it the one you also opened your legs to get? I dont have a problem with actresses sleeping around to get money to buy a #house, but please stop making other actresses feel like they are not hardworking enough, and stop deceiving the public that nollywood flows with milk and honey.”
